This is one of my latest home portraits. It is of a home in the Sandbridge area of Virginia, near Virginia Beach. A friend commissioned it as a gift for another friend.

Artist's Statement

Just paint / draw / create. Do it to please - yourself, another or many. It's the desire to create that is an enigma and yet a basic understanding in life...to be able to create something that brings forth strong emotion or releases it. Fulfillment is creating every day and heightened happiness is creating something I love that someone else loves as well.
